NPAC receives LSV Platinum Pool Accreditation

South East Leisure (SEL) is thrilled to announce that Noble Park Aquatic Centre (NPAC) has received Life Saving Victoria’s (LSV) prestigious Platinum Pool accreditation.

NPAC was awarded Platinum Pool status for recognised signs of excellence in providing outstanding levels of compliance and safety.

The award now sees NPAC become just one of 40 Victorian public aquatic facilities to currently hold the accreditation. NPAC’s inclusion to the Platinum Pool accreditation list sees SEL now have two facilities out of 40 to hold the prestigious accreditation in Victoria, as Dandenong Oasis achieved the standard earlier in the year.

To maintain their platinum accreditation, LSV manager – aquatic industry services, Alek Olszewski said, NPAC would need to pass a combination of assessment processes from LSV every 12 months.

“Platinum pool accreditation really is reserved for the best of the best, and so I congratulate NPAC on their strong safety protocols and newly-minted platinum accreditation that will ensure guests of the facility are able to make the most of the new facility to learn lifelong water safety skills,” he said.

“Receiving the accreditation is difficult enough, let alone maintaining it, so we look forward to working together with NPAC to ensure the pool continues to prosper in adhering to our industry code of practice for the benefit of the local community.”

Multiple elements are taken into consideration for the accreditation, including an industry leading Pool Safety Assessment, mystery guest visits and adherence to the best practice ‘Watch Around Water’ child supervision program.

SEL CEO, John Clark was thrilled to see NPAC join Oasis as Platinum Pool accredited facility and to have two centres rank up there with best facilities in Victoria for compliance and safety.

“This is a great achievement for our team at NPAC, there has been a concentrated effort to have this facility recognised as one of Victoria’s Platinum Pools alongside Oasis. To now be acknowledged alongside the best aquatic facilities in the state when it comes to compliance and safety is great recognition of our team’s dedication and attention to detail, and we look forward to maintaining this standard.

“NPAC is a popular leisure facility in the City of Greater Dandenong and we pride ourselves on providing a safe and quality service for our community. We hope our patrons recognise this and continue enjoying the facility with confidence,” said Clark.
