Personal Trainers have a passion for health and wellness. If you are new to the gym or experienced but wanting to make the most of your training, a program specifically designed for you by a trainer that can help you reach your fitness goals.

I worked as full time Personal Trainer for 3 years from 2018 to 2020. During this period, I worked with clients from different training backgrounds to help them achieve their personal goals. After Covid, I shifted my focus to group fitness training, teaching HIIT, Bodypump, boxing, yoga, cycle and strength classes. 

About me

I am very proud to be the mum of my 2 year old boy. I love to spend time on outdoor activities, mainly hiking and climbing. After I reached a plateau in climbing in 2017, I got more serious with training in the gym to improve my back and grip strength. Then I did the Cert 4 in fitness and worked as a personal trainer, which was one of the best decisions I’ve made. 

I enjoy spending time with individual clients to get to know everyone in person, share my knowledge and experience and support everyone in reaching their goals.

Hi, I’m Lauren, a gym and group fitness instructor here at South East Leisure.I am in my last year of studying a double degree in exercise science and nutrition science. 

My own fitness journey has seen me complete many running events over the last 14 years, with distances ranging from 5km to 42km – a full marathon. Recently I have also travelled to Queensland to complete the olympic distance Noosa Triathlon; and New Zealand to complete a half ironman. I also have 15+ years of lifting experience in the gym. With any of these events, setting clear, concise goals is a key step that I can help with as a trainer. My other areas of expertise include weight loss advice and nutritional guidance which relate closely to my studies at university. I have trained throughout two pregnancies and the postnatal period, with extra qualifications in these areas.

I am a personal trainer who specialises in fat loss and strength development. I love working with all kinds of members, and its the relationships I build with people that keeps me coming to work each day. I am a results driven and my primary goal is to help you achieve your goals in the gym. 

My programs include a mix of resistance and cardio training. I also do boxing, kettlebell training and stretching/ flexibility work, so my sessions are varied and interesting. 

Outside of the gym, I have two dogs: Cleo and Evie. I enjoy live music, cooking, eating out and spending time with friends and family. I’m bilingual, speaking English and Arabic.
